Period from 1997 to 2001
Prizma Mikro, under the ICMC, began its microcredit activities in 1997. After the new Law on Microcredit Organization came into force, Prizma Mikro was registered as the Microcredit organization in 2001. Prizma Mikro was carrying out its activities as the microcredit organization May 2008.
Period from 2001 to 2008
The new Law on Microcredit Organization came into force in February 2007 and Prizma Mikro undertook the necessary steps to organize its business and to harmonize its business with the provisions of the new law. Prizma Mikro officially became Microcredit Foundation in May 2008 and as such received the Decision of the competent Banking Agencies (FBH Banking Agency and Banking Agenci of Republika Srpska)
