Microcredit foundation Prizma is one of the leading microfinance institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and during its 12 years of successful existence, Prizma Mikro disbursed about 300.000 loans in the amount of KM 450 millions. In the initial phase, PRIZMA was beneficiary of multiple grants from the world's leading agencies that were operational in Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as USAID, UNDP, BPRM and the World Bank.
PRIZMA with its successful operations, in a relatively short time achieved a full self-sustainability and was funded by socially responsible investors, and later by the commercial institutions on the entirely market basis. Nowadays, being particularly proud, we point out that a large number of domestic and international institutions placed their confidence to PRIZMA, through the large number of credit lines of which some of them were in the value of several million.
In addition to very exceptional business results, in financial and organizational context, Prizma gained the confidence from the above mentioned investors, as one of the few financial institutions who received Award for the high level of transparency in financial reporting and operations from the World Bank and CGAP's (Consulting Group to help the poor) three years in a row.
