HISTORY
With seed capital from the United States of America and the US Government, Prizma began its operations in Bihac region, in 1997, under the name: "Project Enterprise". The official name Microcredit organization Prizma was used since September 2001, and it was registered like that in the Registry of microcredit organizations within the Federal Ministry for Social Welfare, Refugees and displaced persons.

Pursuant to the new Law on Microcredit organizations, Prizma changed its legal status in May 2008, and since than, it has been organized as Microcredit Foundation and got the working licence from the competent Banking Agencies. Until nowadays, Microcredit foundation Prizma has grown into the institution with seven regional offices: Banja Luka, Bihac, Bijeljina, Mostar, Sarajevo, Zenica and Tuzla; 42 satellite offices with over 200 experienced employees serve more than 40.000 active clients. Prizma is operational in both entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina through its registered organizational parts.

In 2007, Microcredit foundation Prizma celebrated the 10th anniversary of its existence and successful work. MCF Prizma, one of the leading microfinance institutions, has so far granted 250,000 loans in the total amount of BAM 370,000,000.
